My new collection of artful enhancements, sheer overlays, clouds and textures is now available....I am excited about this new package....have a look at it here !!!

Here is just one example of what adding an overlay, in this case, the Canada Goose and then using all the wonderful textures and actions that are available can do. In this image, as well as adding my Goose Overlay...I added Jessica Drossin's "Blush" texture in overlay mode and Distressed Jewell Texture "In Love with the Sky" in multply mode. I topped it off by applying Shana Rae's Florabella Action "Lighten and Brighten".. which I used on almost all my images..love the light and sunlight glow that action adds to an image..specially one taken at the worse time of day...12 noon!

I had a lot of fun make this one..makes me feel like an oil painter!

I had 5x7 greeting cards (see label here: fine art greeting card) printed on fine art linen paper stock (22 different images at 25 cards/image mostly of images taken at Shipley..my best hummingbird shots and all of my the ones from my fountain collection, as well as a few flower ones)...Had the cards printed up by my fantastic online printing outfit (whcc.com). I will be selling these cards at Shipley Nature Center and at my local nail place..Also I think at my local florist..I've emailed her to find out..I found out yesterday she just got back from vacation..so maybe will hear from her this weekend...anyway...so I have a big process now of putting each card in plastic sleeve, putting on the price tag, and also I guess I will need to keep track of how many of each card I leave at each location right? I have an urge to take samples to my local Hallmark store too? maybe...when I get a chance I will post a picture of what one of the cards looks like..the image on the front and on the back..I made my own insignia..the image title, an icon of the image, my watermark, then "fine art prints available" and then my web site address under that...looks so nice IMHO!

On this image I test-drove Isabelle LaFrance's upcoming new set of actions,textures and overlays..Soulful Black and White. I did not use the b/w action as I still wanted my photo in color..I used the Cinnamon bw texture and the matching bw overlay...so lovely...and then I ran an action which is free and available right now..I used one from the Soulful Dawn til Dusk called "Soulful Glory Hour" and then decided it was a perfect name for this picture...taken within the hour before the sun set.
Also added in Glorious Nature Art "Orange Light" butterfly as an added accent...;-D

I love my new banner! I had so much fun adding in the hummingbirds and butterfly from my Glorious Nature Art overlay collection..this is a huge project I am working on presently and hope to make them available to the public sometime soon. Alot of folks have expressed interest in them..along with my bokeh layers..so I decided to make them available to the public...so hang tight...I am working on this project..which will include hummingbirds, butterfly and birds overlays , bokeh and excellent cloud textures to add into those shots that need a little boost and perhaps some other additional items I am considering...will keep you all posted!!

This set has a total of 65 high resolution files...as follows: 12 birds; 10 bokeh textures; 5 butterflies; 8 cloud layers; 5 frames; 6 sheer overlays; 14 textures and 4 bonus images....the moon, a bee, a deer and bunny rabbit! The set includes a page with helpful hints and directions on how to add overlays and/or textures to your own images to make your own unique and artful creations. I also include some helpful information on how you can capture hummingbirds and other birds in flight.

Important Update...4/20/2010...this set includes only the files that are not X'd out...Those overlays are used in images of mine which have been licensed by Getty Images and therefore, can no longer be available here for sale and download...I was very pleased that Getty Images invited these images to be part of their creative collection on Getty...but the set still includes the following 47 overlays, which is a great deal for the $$$ ;-D

This is my collection of high resolution, artful enhancements which can easily be added into your own images to give a finishing touch. Included are 9 hummingbirds, 7 misc. birds, 13 bokeh textures, 6 transparent bokeh overlays, 7 cloud and sky textures, 2 textures, 2 bonus art images. The set also includes tutorials on how to add these overlays and textures into your own images. As a special bonus, I have included information on how to capture hummingbirds in flight!

I want to give back to those non-profit organizations that are trying to keep nature intact for all our birds, animals and plant life ... as we humans keep procreating and building and using up so much of the natural habitats of our feathered friends, etc. Therefore, for each set purchased and downloaded..I pledge to donate 5% of the purchase price to Shipley Nature Center and Bolsa Chica Land Trust. will divide the money up evenly between these two organizations.
